    Legend (Info Window - visible after click on the map):
  • Partial Eclipse Begins - the Moon starts touching the Sun edge.
  • Annular Eclipse Begins - the Moon is entirely 'inside' the Sun disk.
  • Maximum Eclipse - the Moon is closest to the center of the Sun.
  • Annular Eclipse Ends - the Moon starts to leave the Sun disk .
  • Partial Eclipse Ends - the Moon stops covering the Sun.
  • Obscuration - Percent of the Sun covered by the Moon at the maximum eclipse.
  • Magnitude -The fraction of the apparent diameter of the sun covered by the moon. By convention it is usually quoted at maximum phase.
  • Annularity Time - Time when the sun’s photosphere is completely covered by the moon.
